Spring is finally here and our computer programmers’ tans are starting to become an issue. And lets hope that the lack of Vitamin D is the reason for the unexpected mood swings, not some other deeper reason. So, readers, there’s nothing left to do but enjoy this record breaking warm weather by first and foremost picking up a couple pairs of stylish shades for our unaccustomed eyes.

I won’t attempt to give you tips on which frame shape to choose based on the contours of your face: sunglasses can be an expensive buy and I wouldn’t want to be the target of buyer’s remorse. But, I do want to mention that this year, extremely oversized sunglasses are out of fashion. The Jackie O style shade no longer feels current and might make your look seem suburban. The key is to focus on rich colors and materials for the frame and to choose a shape that is medium in size. Black is always the color you should choose for your go-to pair but if you are looking to start a collection, my favorite styles have an olive or honey tone to them.
